Whale Watching
Whale Watching Tours
Tofino and the surrounding waters of the Ahousaht, Tla-o-qui-aht and Hesquiaht First Nationshahuułi (territories) are bustling with wildlife all year round. From seals and sea lions to otters and eagles, there is always something to be seen. Come spring black bears emerge from their dens, and the grey whales return to the area from their winter migration. The tours start the minute we leave the dock, as Tofino’s harbour is full of eagles, cormorants, and the odd sea lion. Although whales are the main focus, we take our time going to and from viewing them to give you, the client, the chance to see it all. From calm inlets to offshore seas, there is always something to see on the west coast.
